the latest, from tiff

Welcome to the first issue of the latest, from tiff. As I've been off of social media, it's been so fun to explore other ways to write, create, and connect. This is just one of them and I really hope you like it. If not, or if you don't remember subscribing and are fuming hot with anger that this reached your inbox, please feel free to unsubscribe. I won't be offended but I will miss ya.

THE LATEST NEWS INSIDE THIS ISSUE:

How (and how big) is Moose?!

Mr. Hogle's Neighborhood

What's ahead for the Hogle's

What's ahead for me + you

How (and how big) is Moose?!

On January 3, 2022 we rang in the new year by bringing home our F1 Standard Golden doodle boy and named him Moose, but really he named himself for looking like an absolute Moose. In the short 5 weeks that we've had him, he has doubled in size and weight and spunk and sass. He's also doubled in sweetness and cuteness and curly coat-ed-ness.

10 weeks 14 weeks

I've spent the greater part of the past six weeks diligently training our boy. As many hours as I've now spent doing this, I can confidently say it has really started to pay off. He rings the bell when he has to go outside, he doesn't cry in his crate anymore, he sleeps through the night, and with the right treats in my hand he will sit, stay, come, shake, lay down and roll over.

I really love that I have a dog and I really love that this dog is mine.

Mr. Hogle's Neighborhood

In the world of my Mr. Wonderful, I have some big news!

Because this is my newsletter, I can say whatever I want and brag on whomever I choose and I choose to let you all know that my husband Sam was recently promoted at his job to Senior Implementation Consultant!

I am so proud of Sam. He works so. dang. hard every single day. Sam is such an expert in a field of very few, and his excellence and devotion are what sets him apart. I love you Sammy! I'm so proud to be your wife!

What's ahead for the Hogle's?

We have a lot of fun things coming up in the first half of the year.

This Friday, February 11th is my 30th birthday. Yikes. I mean yay! Actually, I am really looking forward to my thirties. Sam is taking me to Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, Missouri for a romantic little getaway for the weekend. As much as I'll miss Moose, I'm really looking forward to sleeping in and having a super slow, restful, and quiet birthday with my honey boy in the mountains.

Speaking of my honey, Sams 25th birthday is February 21st! We'll be heading up to Montana for a weekend getaway with some dear friends for the first weekend in March and I'm so excited to explore a new state with Sam.

Finally, we booked our ONE YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY trip! What! I mean, it's still four months away but the fact that we booked the trip already is insane. It's almost been a year?! What?! We'll be headed for a week long stay at Nobu Los Cabos and I actually cannot wait.

On the home front, two of my sisters-in-law are getting married this spring so it'll be a joyous, busy, beautiful season of celebrations for my Hogle family.

What's ahead for me + you

If you follow me on social media (thank you, by the way!) you know I'm taking a little break right now. To be honest, it's been great. I have had the itch to get back on to create, share, and engage and I miss being in contact with you all. But taking the time to step away has allowed me the real space to create and write in ways I haven't in a really long time. For the first time, I'm getting fresh ideas and actually implementing those ideas right away instead of letting them sit idly in the "I'll do it later" room of my brain (ergo, this newsletter!)

My hope moving forward is that even when back on social media, I can continue to accurately prioritize my life and actually reach my goals. I have so. many. ideas. So many things I want to make a reality for YOU. As long as I have breath I will continue writing and encouraging you in all the little ways the Lord gives me to do. Onward! Upward!
